Cosmology with galaxies and gravitational waves at UZH

This talk presents an overview of recent developments toward incorporating gravitational wave standard sirens into the portfolio of observable probes used for precision measurements by major experiments in the cosmology community. It describes the prospects for rapid growth in this field, fueled by instrumentation developments and novel analysis techniques. Finally, it outlines opportunities for strategic collaborations between the Astrophysics Department and the Physics Institute on this exciting topic.
