Title:
Ideal MHD and Constrained Transport for finite volume and finite element
methods

Abstract:
I will describe ongoing work to develop modern and accurate methods to
solve the MHD equations for astrophysical applications. I will stress
the importance on preserving the divergence free constraint of the
magnetic field and describe in particular a new implementation of the
Spectral Difference (SD) method for MHD.
